Urban planning project based in the town of Mazarrón, Murcia, Spain.

Task: Analyse and resolve certain and possible problems the town presents.

Analysis: The town lacked in mostly green areas, such as parks, and in disperse services to its people, these services existed within the town but where concentrated in specific areas which we’re not really benefiting the people. Not much commerce, and industry was on the outskirts of the city.

Design: Our team decided to add more commercial areas with wider and more open public spaces, open parks to integrate the surrounding natural environment (mountains/hills) and finally to spread the public services evenly throughout the town.
